Special screening on the set of There Will Be Blood.

Daniel Day Lewis stars in this merciless examination of power lust and greed in the forming days of the oil industry from Writer-Director Paul Thomas Anderson. Based on a novel by Uptain Sinclair, P.T. Anderson reaches new heights as a filmmaker in this gorgeous and relentless epic shot almost entirely in Marfa. The film received numerous Oscar nominations, with wins for Daniel Day Lewis and cinematographer Robert Elswitt.

We’re please to announce this once-in-a-lifetime screening will happen on the set of THERE WILL BE BLOOD just south of Marfa on the MacGuire Ranch. Though some small parts of the set will remain after the event, the town (where we will screen) will soon be torn down, as the West Texas winds are already taking their toll on the scenic construction.

There will be shuttles to this event, with pick up in or near downtown Marfa (location TBA). No private vehicles. Bring blankets and chairs if you like, or chairs will be available to rent for three dollars.
